Stand: 21. Oktober 2026. Alles, was du in Emba einträgst, bleibt auf deinem iPhone.

Last updated: October 21, 2026. Emba doesn't need an account and has no server of its own. Everything you enter in Emba stays on your iPhone. Through the app we don't collect any data about you, don't use analytics or advertising services, and don't track you.

To work, Emba stores on your iPhone: your first name, the themes you chose, your own beliefs, your favorites, the number of reminders, the days you opened the app (for your streak), your App Block settings and the numbers in the summary.
This data is not sent to us. It may become part of your iPhone backup if you have backups to iCloud or your computer turned on; Apple's terms apply to those. When you delete Emba, it is removed from the device.
When you say your belief out loud, Emba uses the microphone and Apple's speech recognition to check that you said it. If your iPhone can recognize the language on the device, the recording never leaves your iPhone. Otherwise it is sent to Apple for recognition; Apple's Privacy Policy applies.
Emba doesn't store recordings and doesn't send recordings or recognized text to us. You can revoke access at any time in your iPhone settings and type your belief instead.
Reminders of your beliefs and of the end of a free trial are scheduled locally on your iPhone. No server is involved.
App Block works through an automation in Apple's Shortcuts app that runs on your iPhone. If you choose apps from Apple's Screen Time list, Emba only receives encrypted identifiers, not the app's name or your usage. These identifiers stay on your device.
When you save an affirmation card as an image, Emba only asks for permission to add an image to your photos. Emba can't read your photos.
Emba and Emba+ are offered through Apple's App Store. Apple handles downloads and payment as an independent controller; we don't receive any payment or account details. On your iPhone, Emba checks with Apple whether a subscription is active.
From Apple we receive aggregated sales and download figures, and crash reports only from people who turned on "Share With App Developers"; this data doesn't identify anyone. If Emba asks you for a rating, Apple's own rating prompt opens.
This page is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When you visit it, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the time and the page requested in server log files to deliver the page and protect it from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We don't use cookies or analytics tools on this page.
If you join the waitlist on this page, we store your email address, the time you signed up and confirmed, and the IP address used. We only use this to email you about Emba's launch and news. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You'll get a confirmation email first; you're only added once you tap the link in it (double opt-in).
We send these emails with MailerLite (UAB "MailerLite", J. Basanavičiaus 15, LT-03108 Vilnius, Lithuania) as our processor. MailerLite records whether an email was opened and whether a link in it was clicked, so we can see what resonates. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to rttg.dev@gmail.com. We then remove your address from the list.
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Since we don't store any personal data from the app, you can change your data in the app at any time or remove it by deleting the app. If you have questions, write to rttg.dev@gmail.com.
Emba is not directed at children under 16. If the app changes, we will update this policy; the version published here applies.
